שַׁלְהָבִי‏ n.f. flame

JLA vocalization varies between שַלהָבִי‏ and שַלהוֹבִי‏

flame JLAtg, PTA, CPA, Sam, Syr, BabMBK. TgJ Is5:24 : בְכֵין יִתאַכלוּן כְקַשָא בְאִישָתָא וֻכעָמִירָא בְשַלהָבִיתָא‏ . GT F Exod19:18 : מן קודם די אתגליית עלוי יקר שכ֯ינתיה דה׳ בשלהבית דאשה‏ before the glory of the Lord's presence was revealed on it in a fiery flame.

See also s.vv. שלהובי, שלהב whose forms are often confused n the JLA and LJLA scribal traditions. The form with /o/ would appear to be the Palestinian/later form.
