בָּעוּ‏ n.f. petition

petition, beseeching, supplication BA^Dan, Qumran, CPA, Sam, Syr, Man, LJLA. Dan6:14 : זִמְנִין תְּלָתָה בְּיוֹמָא בָּעֵא בָּעוּתֵהּ‏ he was praying three times a day. 4QEnGiants^b07.3 : בעות ארכת גבריא‏ petition for the giants' reprieve(?). TgJ 1Sam1:27 : וִיהַב יְיָ לִי יָת בָעוּתִי דִבעֵיתִי מִן קֳדָמוֹהִי‏ the Lord gave me the supplication that I beseeched from him.
