צִדְקָה‏   n.f.  merit; benificence


  merit, righteousness  OfAEg, JLAtg, PTA, LJLA.  TgJ Is32:16 : וְיִשרוֹן בְמַדבְרָא עָבְדֵי דִינָא וְעָבְדֵי צְדַקתָא יָת כַרמְלָא יְיַתְבוּן‏ .  TN Gen18:19 : למעבד \צדקתה ודינא /זכו וסדר דן/‏  to do righteousness and justice.  PJ Gen18:19 : למעבד צדקתא ודינא‏ .

  beneficence  BADan.  Dan4:24 : וחטיך/#ק#וַחֲטָאָךְ/ בְּצִדְקָה פְרֻק‏  redeem your sins by means of doing good. charity  Sam, JBA, LJLA.  TgEsth109:22 : לשדרא דורון אינש לחבריה ומעין דצדקתא מתנן לחשׂוכי‏  each person to send a gift to his comrade and charitable coins as gifts to the needy.
