צָדוּ‏   n.f.  desolation


  desolation  JLAtg, Gal, PTA.  TgJ Jos8:28 : וְשַויַה תֵל חָרוּב לְעָלַם לְצָדוּ עַד יוֹמָא הָדֵין‏  he made it into a destroyed tell forever, into a desolate place to this day.  FTP Gen44:18 : צדו מן בני אינש‏  desolation from people.  FTV Deut32:10 : ובצדותא‏ .

  disquiet, fear  Sam, LJLA.  TgLamYem 3:11 : שַוְּיַנִי צָדֻו‏  [=MT שָׂמַנִי שֹׁמֵם ]. astonishment  JLAtg, PTA.  TgO Deut28:37 : וֻתהֵי לְצָדוּ לִמתַל וֻלשוֹעִי בְכֹל עַמְמַיָא‏  you will become a (source of) astonishment (MT: לְשַׁמָּה ], a proverb, and a tale among all the nations.  TN Deut28:37 : ותיהוי לצדו‏ .
