מְשִׁיחַ מְשִׁיחָא‏ n.m./adj. anointed one, Messiah

anointed one (as king) JLAtg, Syr, LJLA. TgJ 1Sam12:3 : אַסהִידוּ בִי קֳדָם יְיָ וֻקדָם מְשִיחֵיה‏ swear to me before the Lord and before his anointed one. TgPs132:10 : במיעל ארונא במצע תרעיא לא תתיב אפי שלמה משיחך‏ when the ark enters the middle of the gates do not turn away the face of Your anointed one Solomon.
