נִדֶן נִדְנָא   n.m. #2  sheath


  sheath  JLAtg, PTA.  TgJ Jer47:6 : אִתכְנִישִי לִלדָנִיך/לנדניך  [=MT הֵאָסְפִי אַל־תַּעְרֵךְ].  GT R Gen44:18 : אִם אִישלוֹף חַרבִּי מִתַּעְרַה לָא אָתִיבִינַּה לְנִידְנַה  if I draw my sword from its sheath I shall not return it to its sheath. fig.   BADan, Qumran.  Dan 7:15 : אֶתְכְּרִיַּת רוּחִי אֲנָה דָנִיֵּאל בְּגוֹא נִדְנֶה  my spirit--me, Daniel--was perturbed within its envelope (i.e. my physical body) †.  GenApoc 2.10 : נשמתי לגו נדנהא  †.
