ננאית   adv.  beautifully (??)

beautifully (?)  LJLA.  TgProv31:28 : מקימין בניהא ויהבון לה ננאית טובהא בעלה ומשבחהא  †.

This unique form, not attested in all mss., is probably an error for an original טבאית. If one insists on then reading, though, there are two possibilities: a) see nny "to lull to sleep"; perhaps, then, they bless her as she lies dying! b) read נינאית and connect with BH נִין, "grandchild", i.e., they give her the blessing of many grandchildren, a very ancient topos in the Near East.
