broad, extensive JLAtg, PTA, CPA, Syr, BabMBK, JBAg, Man, LJLA. TgJ Jer51:58 : שוּרֵי בָבַל פְתַיָא א‏ . TN Gen34:21 : וארעא הא פתיא היא‏ look how extensive the land is. TgJob36:16 : פצאינך מפום מעיקא אפתי‏ he rescued you from the mouth of the extensive distress [~MT וְאַף הֲסִיתְךָ מִפִּי־צָר רַחַב]. TgIChron 4:40 : ארעא פטימתא ופתיית תחומין ושדוכא‏ a verdant land, wide of territory, and tranquil.
