פְּחַת פִּחְתָּא פַּחְתָּא   n.m.  pit


  pit, deep hole  Qumran, CPA, Syr.  4QEne1.22.1 : והא֗ א֗לן אנון פחתיא לבית עגנון  now these are the prison pits . depression in the skin or a surface  JLAtg.  TgO Lev14:37 : וְהָא מַכתָשָא בְכוּתלֵי בֵיתָא פַחתִין יָרְקָן אוֹ סָמְקָן  here is a large mark in the walls of the house with green or red pits.  TgJ 1Sam17:49var. : וֻטבַעַת אַבנָ אבְבֵית עֵינוֹהִי בפיחתיה  the stone embedded itself in his forehead (var. in his depression).
