  near, nearby  Com. in space  Com.  4QEnastr b 7 iii:6 : רוח קדים גרבה די קריב לרוח גרי[בי  the north-east wind which is near the north wind.  TgO Ex3:22 : וְתִשאַל אִיתְתָא מִשִיבַבתַה וֻמִקָרִיבַת בֵיתַה  the woman should borrow from her neighbor or a woman close to her house. in time  Com.   w. infinitive : on the verge of  JLAtg, Qumran, Syr.  GenApoc .12 : וכען קר֗י֗ב֗ה֗ י֗ד֗ך לממחה.  TgJ Ez7:7 : קָרִיב יוֹם אִתרְגוֹשָ.

  other, neighbor, companion  JLAtg, CPA, Syr.  TgJ Jer50:40 : כְמָא דְרַחֵיק יוי יָת סְדוֹם וְיָת עֲמֹרָה וְקָרִיבַהָא  as the Lord empied out Sodom and Gomorrah and its neighbors.
