קַיָּם‏   adj.  enduring


  enduring  Com. alive, surviving  Com.  TgO Gen43:7 : הְעַד כְעַן אֲבוּכוֹן קַיָים‏  is your father alive up to now?.   (in an oath formula) as lives  JLAtg, Sam.  TgJ Jer46:18 : קַיָים אֲנָא‏  [MT חַי־אָנִי]. (of God) truly existing  BADan, JLAtg, BabMBK.  Dan6:27 : הוּא אֱלָהָא חַיָּא וְקַיָּם לְעָלְמִין‏  He is the living God and endures forever.  TgJ Is37:4 : לְחַסָדָא עַמָא דַיוי קַייָמָא‏  to revile the people of the true God.
