חֳשֹׁךְ חֻשְׁכָּא‏ n.m. darkness

darkness Com. TgO Ex10:22 : וַהְוָה חְשוֹך קְבַל בְכֹל ארעא דמצרים תְלָתָה יוֹמִין‏ there was dark gloom in the whole land of Egypt for three days. TgPs143:3 : דכדיך לארעא חייתי אותבני בחשוכיא היך שכיבי עלמא הדין‏ he crushed my life to the ground, put me in the dark places those lying dead in this world.
