זחוח‏ n.m. pride, arrogance

pride, arrogance (of the heart) LJLA. PJ Ex32:1 : והדר ליבהון זהוהין‏ their heart became arrogant once again. TgPs44:19 : לא נזור פליג וזחוחין ליבנא‏ we will not turn back (??) half-heartedly (??) and with arrogance (??). TgPs62:9var. : שדו קדמוי דחוחי/זהוהי/ לבכון‏ . TgJob36:13 : וזהוהי לבא ודילטורי לבא‏ the arrogant and corrupt-hearted ones. TgLamYemWT 3:33 : מן בגלל דלא עני גבר ית נפשיה ואעדי זחוחא מליביה‏ because a man did not afflict himself nor remove pride from his heart.
