Syr-RomLaw.8.27 :ܐܢܕܝܢ ܒܨܝܪ ܡ݂ܢ ܚ̈ܡܫܐ ܒܢ̈ܝܢ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ܃ ܡܬܢܓܕ ܡ݂ܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܐܦܝܛܪܘܦܐ ܐܘ݁ ܩܘܪܛܘܪ ܠܝܬܡ̈ܐ‏ : but if he has less than five children he may be compelled by the law to become guardian or administrator for orphans
