גְּלֵי   adj.  open


  open  JLAtg, Sam, Syr.  TgJ Is23:7 : כַדוּ לְאִתוֹתָבָא הָא גַליָא  now here it is open for inhabiting.   בריש גלי‏ : openly, unafraid  JLAtg.  TgO Ex14:8 : רדַף בָתַר בְנֵי ישראל וֻבנֵי ישראל נְפַקֻו בְרֵיש גְלֵי  he pursued the children of Israel, while Israel went out openly.  TgJ Jer31:7 : דֻוצֻו בְרֵיש גְלֵי לְעֵינֵי כָל עַמְמַיָא  rejoice openly in the sight of all the nations.   בגליא‏ : openly, unsecured : see s.v. bgly adv.  JLAtg.
