  introducing hypothetical exclamatory clauses, most commonly with "to give": would that, if only  Qumran, JLAtg, PTA, Sam, Syr, LJLA.  4Q536.X2.12 : מן יכתוב מלי אלה בכתב די לא יבלא  would that someone would write these words in a text that will not wear out.  TgO Num11:4 : מַן יוֹכֵילִינַנָא בִסרָא  would that someone would feed us some meat.  TgO Deut28:67 : בְצַפרָא תֵימַר מַן יִתֵין רַמשָא  in the morning you will say: if someone would only make it evening.  GT D Deut5:29 : לְוי מַּן יֶתֵּן דְּיֶהְוֵי.  PJ Num11:4 : מאן יכליננא בישרא  if only we had meat to eat.
