Cf. Biblical Hebrew נקף. See our note s.v. tqp and observe that the Targum still understands the Hebrew at Job 15:24 תִּתְקְפֵהוּ כְּמֶלֶךְ in this meaning: מחזרין יתה היך מליך.
Note, too, that the cited passage shows that this verb had undergone the shift of initial waw to yodh of most but not all such Aramaic verbs (compare Tal!)
